Life of a Kinesiology Student was created to help all students. It was created to share a real life experience going through university including the challenges, successes, and lessons I have learned. I hope to share all relevant information to better help your experience as a student.
My name is Kristen and I am a 3rd year kinesiology student at a university in Canada. I created this blog to share my experiences, and help out fellow students. Life of a Kinesiology Student is my life and I’m so excited for you all to gain some helpful tips and advice from not only my successes, but my failures as well.
I began my university career directly out of high school in 2014 in a general sciences program. I was hoping to ace all of my classes as I had through out my previous education career and become a great physiotherapist. Boy was I wrong, I struggled through my first year, had a few breakdowns and failed a few classes. I decided to switch into the kinesiology program, get help for my anxiety and make some major life changes. I am so glad that I did as I love my program now, I experience more academic success and overall happiness in general. My experience through university has been rocky, but I hope to share advice, information, and what I have learned to help get you out of struggling as well. Together let’s rock university.
